The 2020 LPGA season will not resume until late July at the earliest, but last week the Tour announced that caddies would be optional for the remainder of the season to limit contact with others for those players with coronavirus concerns. In this week’s ‘Under the Strap’ podcast, host T.J. Auclair welcomes LPGA caddies Les Luark (Lydia Ko), Jason McDede (Nelly Korda) and four-time European Solheim Cup team member Caro Masson to get their thoughts on the LPGA’s decision, how it impacts loopers and to answer the question “will players take advantage of this decision simply to save money on taking a caddie?” All that and a lot more, including stories from the Solheim Cup and career highlights.
