Wow. How is it already Week 9 of the NFL season?

It’s going by way too fast, isn’t it?

OK… maybe not fast enough for some teams.

Regardless, caddie Joe Skovron has been studying this week’s key match ups. Here’s a look at what he sees unfolding…

Kansas City at Cleveland
Spread: KC -8.5

Skovron’s Pick: Cleveland
Why: Hard for me to make this pick but 80 percent of bets are on KC with reverse line movement. Taking it every time.

Pittsburgh at Baltimore
Spread: Baltimore -3

Skovron’s Pick: Baltimore
Why: Pittsburgh looks like they are starting to roll but their last loss was to the Ravens at Heinz Field. I’ll take the Ravens based on the match up.

Detroit at Minnesota
Spread: Minnesota -5.5

Skovron’s Pick: Detroit
Why: Another reverse line move. This is a Detroit bet for me.

LA Rams at New Orleans
Spread: New Orelans -1.5

Skovron’s Pick: LA
Why: New Orleans is 5-0 in their last five against the spread and the Rams are 1-3-1. But after the trade this week to get an outside pass rusher, I just don’t think the Rams are ready to lose yet.

Green Bay at New England
Spread: New England -6.5

Skovron’s Pick: New England
Why: I realize the Packers have Rodgers, but do I really need to explain taking the Pats at home? I could write a paragraph or two filled with reasons why but that would just be wasting everyone’s time.
