The final day of the 2019 Genesis Open was a marathon at famed Riviera Country Club.
Weather at the start of the tournament forced the leaders to play 30+ holes on Sunday. Winner J.B. Holmes, played 34 holes on the final day. Afterward, our Michael Collins — America’s Caddie — tracked down winning caddie Brandon Parsons for the inside scoop on what the day was like… including how the wind caused a Holmes 5-iron to go from its usual 220 yards to just 169 yards.
Parsons gave terrific insight into the role of the caddie when the elements are impacting what players know as “the norm.”
