Watch: Caddie Mark Long’s outstanding impersonation of Ryder Cup legend Seve Ballesteros
It is impossible to think about the Ryder Cup and what it is today without thinking of the late Seve Ballesteros.
Ballesteros, hands down, is one of the all-time greats. He was the leader of Europe’s re-emergence in the biennial matches and led his continent to five victories over the U.S. as a player and captain.
Simply put, the five-time major winner is sorely missed — by everyone.
His name is synonymous with “Ryder Cup.”
Though Seve has been gone now since May 7, 2011, he’s still very much on our minds as the 2018 Ryder Cup tees off in Paris on Friday morning.
While Seve is on our mind, we wanted to go deep into the vault for this video of Fred Funk’s former caddie Mark Long, reciting his priceless Seve impersonation for a little bit of fun and appreciation to a Ryder Cup legend.
