The Caddie Network, LLC and European Tour Caddies Association join forces on commercial and content partnership

It is with great enthusiasm that we announce an exciting new commercial and content partnership between The Caddie Network LLC and Rocket Yard Sports which will help connect the Caddies Associations on both the PGA and the European Tours.

The Caddie Network (TCN) launched in June 2018, with the goal of providing golf and sports fans an insider’s perspective with an intimate and entertaining perspective, different than anything else in sport. TCN has quickly become the fresh, new voice in golf, delivering insights and an authentic perspective from professional caddies at the cutting edge of the industry.

The European Tour Caddies Association (ETCA) have recently launched Caddie World which is the media arm of the ETCA. European Tour inspired caddies are legendary for their natural ability to tell entertaining tales from behind the ropes, and Caddie World is the perfect platform to showcase this content. The ETCA’s recent agreement with the European Tour to open up greater sponsorship opportunities has been welcomed by the many caddies around the world and partnerships like this, will help amplify the voice of the caddie.

Rocket Yard Sports, a Sports Marketing & Sponsorship Agency based in England, represents the commercial interests of the ETCA and this partnership will help develop global-based sponsorship and marketing opportunities to caddies on the two biggest golf tours in the world.

This relationship will create a collaborative content-rich environment between all parties to help stimulate and engage a global golf audience. In addition, by combining the efforts of both The Caddie Network and Rocket Yard Sports, it is expected to further develop commercial opportunities for caddies on both sides of the pond.

“One of the original goals of The Caddie Network was to help tell the unique insider perspective of caddies on a global basis. By partnering with Rocket Yard Sports and the ETCA we have taken a great step in being able to do that,” said co-Founder John von Stade.

Scott Sajtinac, President of the Association of Professional Tour Caddies (APTC, partners of TCN) commented, “We are very excited to work with our friends on the ETCA as we all have the same goals and interest to raise the voice and understanding of what it means to be a professional caddie.

“Developing a media arm will enable the ETCA to explore opportunities to interact with golf fans across the globe. It will also give the opportunity to engage with partners and present the unique position we hold in a fantastic elite sporting environment.”

“Collaborating with The Caddie Network will give us a unique opportunity to share our common experiences and insights into the privileged positions we hold,” said Jan Squire, ETCA Committee member.

Daryl Evans, Managing Director of Rocket Yard Sports said, “We are delighted to be involved in a partnership of this magnitude. By essentially unifying the commercial interests of both Associations, the possibilities are truly endless. As the world is adapting to Covid-19, I genuinely feel that businesses are looking for new audiences and where better to look than the highly engaged and affluent demographic of golf. I am very excited to experience the journey that lies ahead.”
