The PGA Tour is at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, this week for its crown jewel — The Players Championship. That’s where our John Rathouz caught up with Todd Montoya, caddie for Brian Stuard. Montoya gave great insights into how the course will play, his experience in the Wednesday caddie competition on the daunting par-3, island green 17th and, lastly, the big news he revealed in a segment on the Golf Channel earlier this week about his decision to come out as gay to the players and his fellow caddies and the incredible support they’ve given him.
