Mark Carens, caddie for J.J. Spaun, phoned in from his players’ Mercedes Benz courtesy car in the Augusta National parking lot 36 hours after winning the Valero Texas Open.
Decked out in Masters green with an ear-to-ear grin, he told our John Rathouz about the experience and how proud he is of his pro for cashing his first win on the PGA Tour.
Oh, and qualifying as the 90th and final competitor at the 2022 Masters. Not a bad couple days.
