Lano Family Foundation set to present seventh annual ‘Handy Andy’ Award Scholarship

Caddie Andrew Lano II, along with his siblings, started the Lano Family Foundation in memory of their father, Andrew “Handy Andy” Lano in 2012.
In addition to a golf tournament each year, fellow PGA Tour caddies come together to play in an event — PGA Caddie Day — to help raise money for the foundation.
In the video above, Lano II talks about the significance of the foundation and we also hear from several of the caddies who have participated in the PGA Caddie Day through the years.
On May 16, 2019, the foundation will present its seventh annual Handy Andy Award Scholarship in the amount of $10,000 to a recipient for secondary education.
“On behalf of everyone from the Lano Family Foundation we are blessed, thankful and grateful to all the caddies who have taking thier time to contribute to our cause,” Lano II told The Caddie Network. “Awarding our seventh scholarship this week will mark history for our foundation.”
