High school cancer survivor joins Jason Bohn thanks to ‘Caddy for a Cure’

During Wednesday’s pro-am at the John Deere Classic in Silvis, Ill., a local high school cancer survivor tagged along with PGA Tour pro Jason Bohn as part of the ‘Caddy for a Cure’ program.

Parker Kress, a junior at nearby Pleasant Valley High School, followed Bohn for nine holes in the pro-am.

Here’s a feature that ran on the local news Thursday morning:

Caddy for a Cure describes itself as, “a way for you to have the PGA golf experience of a lifetime caddying for one of the world’s best golfers while benefiting charities. You can caddy for a PGA TOUR or LPGA professional and help the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, Birdies for the Brave and many other nonprofit charities.
