Caddies spreading the love on social media

The golf media world spent last week in Orlando, Fla., for the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show and the PGA Tour made its return to Torrey Pines for the Farmers Insurance Open, creating a social media buzz only seen this time of the year.
To start things off this week, it never hurts when our friends in the caddie-sphere share the love about our site. Aaron Flener, bagman for J.T. Poston, took a unique angle in spreading the message on his Twitter feed late in the week.
If you care about my well being you are already following the @CaddieNetwork. If you are unconcerned about me or don’t like me you should still follow the @CaddieNetwork. Put your feelings about me aside and do the right thing. Follow the @CaddieNetwork.

While we truly appreciate the kind words, it’s also nice to see other caddies using social media for good. This is especially true when it comes to providing positive updates on the well-being of some of our favorites, including Mark Fulcher.
Fooch, the jovial full-time looper for Justin Rose, is recovering nicely from a recent surgical procedure that as no laughing matter. He shared a few updates on his recovery via Twitter.

With Gareth Lord filling in for the recovering Fooch, Rose won the Farmers Insurance Open on Sunday and dedicated the victory to his regular caddie. What a week!
A special place.

Last but not least, the sport world will turn its attention to Atlanta, Ga., next Sunday for a very important professional football game. I’ll be spending that Sunday traveling back from the Waste Management Phoenix Open in a rush to watch the game, but one quarterback spent his time in Orlando due to an earlier-than-expected winter vacation.
