Mike “Fluff” Cowan is an absolute legend. He’s been there and seen it all in over four decades as a PGA Tour caddie, looping for the likes of Peter Jacobsen, Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk.
But what he saw one year at Cypress Point during a round at the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am remains one of the greatest and funniest things he’s ever seen in golf.
Fluff recently relayed the classic story of a fellow caddie’s… uh… bad timing… to the Caddie Network.
I was paired with Murph that day working for TC Chen. The water was only just over knee deep when the wave came in.
