The 2019 PGA Championship tees off on Thursday morning at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, N.Y.

In the lead up to the first shots being hit, we enlisted the help of caddies Damian “D’Lo” Lopez (Michael Thompson) and Kyle Peters (Corey Conners) to act as our caddie correspondents.

Be sure to check back often, as we’ll be updating this page with their dispatches from the ground.

FRIDAY

Kyle Peters shows us that the drive to Bethpage Black is a lot easier when you leave while most everyone else is still sleeping… and you have a special parking pass:

THURSDAY

Here’s D’Lo, ready to get Round 1 going at Bethpage Black:

WEDNESDAY

On the eve of the PGA Championship, Kyle Peters made it over to Yankee Stadium to take in a ball game:

Here’s a tour of the place where many of the world’s best players go to fine tune the tools of their trade:

Yes. There is in fact a par 4 that is longer than one of the par 5s on the card this week:

D’Lo with a look at what every caddie is hoping to take home late on Sunday:

Just after 6 o’clock on Wednesday morning, D’Lo was out on the range early with Michael Thompson. Nearby was Lucas Glover and caddie Don Cooper — the last player/caddie pair to win a major at Bethpage Black:

TUESDAY

Via his Instagram account (kyle_pepperz), Kyle Peters took the time to do a little Q&A:

D’Lo has found his “spot” for the week. For the second straight night, it’s the “Dark Horse Tavern” where he hung out with some volunteer scorers for the PGA Championship:

Tuesday should be the last of the dreary days this week for Bethpage Black. Everyone here is looking forward to seeing the sun:

Have you ever wondered what the inside of a yardage book and a greens reading book looks like for a major? Wonder no more:

Here’s a close up of the rough players will be dealing with this week:

A man of the people, D’Lo gets a photo with some of the Bethpage fans:

Parking is always a wildcard at the majors… but not for the caddies this particular week, as D’Lo reports:

MONDAY

A man of the people, our guy D’Lo has been mingling with the locals and tracked down some local PGA professionals to get their picks to win at Bethpage Black:

At a bar called “Dark Horse” not far from Bethpage, Lopez asked the locals for their winning PGA Championship picks:

After a long day of travel for Lopez, it was time to grab a pop with fellow caddies (from left to right) Brian Reed, Scott Sajtinac and Joe Duplantis:

Here’s a look at the PGA Championship bag room, which doubled up as a studio for video shot with caddies Andy Sanders (Jimmy Walker) and Brennan Little (Gary Woodland) on Monday. If you’ve ever been here, you’ll recognize it as what is typically the pro shop:

With his work on the course done for the day, Peters decided to visit a popular spot at Bethpage Black — the merchandise tent:

Peters found shelter as a heavy rain pounded down on Bethpage Black Monday afternoon and was able to track down Bethpage PGA professional Charlie Bolling for a preview of what’s to come this week:

For Lopez, first it was a flight from Houston to Chicago, followed by a flight from Chicago to NYC:

Monday morning came early for Damian Lopez:

SUNDAY

No visit to Bethpage Black is complete without a picture of “the warning sign”:

Kyle Peters snapped this photo of “the sign” by the first tee at Bethpage Black on Sunday afternoon.
