2021 Arnold Palmer Invitational Saturday-Sunday rounds best bets and predictions
Seventy-three players made the 36-hole cut in the 2021 Arnold Palmer Invitational, which fell at 2-over 146, and Canada’s Corey Conners will take a one-stroke lead at 9 under into the weekend over past champion Martin Laird. Viktor Hovland, Lanto Griffin and another past champion — Rory McIlroy — are a further shot back at 7 under.
Our resident expert, longtime Tour caddie John Rathouz, likes what he sees on the leaderboard with nine of his 12 early-week picks currently inside the top 20.
So what should we expect for the weekend at Bay Hill in terms of best bets?

These are the golfers we like this weekend when looking at their odds of winning, current form and fit at Bay Hill.
– Viktor Hovland, +450
– Martin Laird, +1600
– Richy Werenski, +12500
As you’ll see in the video above, while Rathouz isn’t wavering off his early-week prediction of Hovland, he also likes former boss Laird, as well as Werenski with old caddie Steve Hale back on the bag this week.
Rathouz will be back early next week with his picks and predictions for the Players Championship at Riviera. Check back at The Caddie Line homepage each week for those best bets and fades, plus power rankings from Brian Mull.
