In just 13 months together, the peer has collected two victories — the latest coming at Muirfield Village in the Workday Charity Open in a thrilling playoff with Justin Thomas — and Morikawa has soared in the Official World Golf Rankings. Jakovac told us about Morikawa’s key attributes and shared several others stories, including what it was like to be part of the winning 2016 U.S. Ryder Cup contingent at Hazeltine and the time he Monday-qualified for a Korn Ferry Tour event only to have the player he typically caddied for go on to win that week.
