At a PGA Tour event, the caddie wear is usually pretty standard — a golf shirt tucked into golf shorts and a pair of sneakers. But did you know the PGA Tour has rules and regulations for what caddies can wear? Matt Minister, caddie for Patrick Cantlay, explains.
What should a caddie wear?
Minister: A caddie should look like a golfer in my opinion. Just not dressed better than their pro. There are rules and regulations the Tour provides as to what caddies should wear. Collared shirts, knee-length shorts and flat-soled shoes are the ones that stick out. Dress the part to play the part.
