Depending on the type of job you have, there might be certain education/training requirements. Though there aren’t any such requirements when it comes to caddying, there’s no better way to learn than being out there on the course.

Are there certifications or education/training requirements to be a caddie?

Unfortunately, there is no certification or education/training for new caddies. I tell every person that wants to be a caddie to go out and follow a group and only watch the caddies. There’s a lot more to caddying than carrying a golf bag.
