Caddie snow angels and more at Pebble Beach

The 2019 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am was nearly a washout as heavy rains and hail (!) dampened the links throughout the week. Spirits were not dampened, however, as caddies, players and celebrities made the best of their situation by enjoying golf on one of the world’s greatest courses.

The week’s weather started off on a positive note, of course, as caddie Jeff Willett described in this quick video posted on our Twitter account.

Practice rounds got a bit wet leading up to the start of the tournament, but players were still able to get a few holes in. Rafa Cabrera Bello took to Instagram to show us all what dedication looks like, especially when standing over a birdie look at the final hole.

By the third round, however, the forecast took a different turn as the clouds rolled in. Caddies needed to plan accordingly for the round, and pro looper, turned writer, Brian Mull jokingly listed his expectations for Moving Day.

Sunday showed another side of Mother Nature as hail and sleet made an appearance, causing play to be suspended for a few hours. Caddies and players made the best of the situation, and it was captured on multiple social channels.

Maintaining a positive attitude despite the elements is critical to succeeding at any tournament. This was even more important this week at Pebble Beach, and elite players, like Phil Mickelson, showed the world how it’s done as evidenced by another top finish this year. This was not a surprise, of course, since his caddie (and brother) Tim kept the positive vibes going on social right from the start.

There’s always room for a little brotherly banter between the Mickelson boys, especially when it comes to Phil’s history for being a little wild off the tee. Tim posted a hilarious jab at the Hall of Famer in the form of a question on Twitter, which got a reply from a very well-known follower.
