PGA Tour Pro Kevin Streelman & Tour Caddie Justin York How Their Seasons Came to an End

In a new episode of Breaking Par TV on Fox Sports Arizona, PGA Tour caddie Justin York, who works for Chez Reavie, was a guest on the show.

During the segment, York talked about how quickly things changed at the Players Championship when the Tour’s season came to an abrupt halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m home for at least a month, I’m sitting on my butt making no money — it was a pretty good gut check,” York said of the initial cancellation of the next four events.

Now, nearly three months after the Tour suspended its season, golf is scheduled to return June 8 with a fan-less Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial in Fort Worth, Texas.

York knows things are going to look quote different.

“For us, we’re in a unique situation where other than the handshake on the first tee, and the conclusion of the round, you’re not near them,” York said. “You can be as far away from them as you need to be. Now the caddie/player relationship, these guys had better make sure that they’re on the up and up because we’re always a foot away from each other pretty much unless they’re swinging.”
